Name: Kenneth H. Krueger Dates: Birth date: July 28, 1937 Death date: February 28, 2010 Obituary: Kenneth H. Krueger, age 72, passed away on Saturday February 27, 2010 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell, Montana. Ken was born on July 28, 1937 in New Salem, North Dakota to Fred and Wilma (Holle) Krueger. LIved in New Salem until he was 10 years old, moved to the stillwater area of the Flathead Valley in 1947. He attended Sparks, Linderman, and then graduating from Flathead County High School. Worked for Skyline Dairy for many years as a route driver then plant supervisor. He left the dairy to become a full time farmer. He married Betty E. Mattheisen on September 1, 1957 in Kalispell, Montana. A member of the West Valley School Board; appointed to the Montana Wheat and Barley Board by then Governor Swindon; the CFC (Cooperative Finance Corporation); National Barley Board. He served on a trade mission to Japan and Taiwan, and then hosted a trade contingent from Japan on their family farm. Also served as chairman of the Montana State Electric Co-opeartive Board for 25 plus years. Kenneth conceived and started the Roud-Up for safety program with the Rural Co-operative. Served as a County Commissioner for 7 years; and Stillwater Grange for several years as Master. "Work, work, and more work" was Kenneth's motto through life. He is preceeded in death by his parents Fred and Wilma Krueger; twin sister Karol Krueger, daughter-in-law Julie Krueger, nephew Rick Shepard, and brother-in-law Johnny Mattheisen. He is survived by his wife Betty; son Gary and wife Jessica and their children Derek and wife Kristen, Trent, Ryan, and Carissa; daughter Kelly and husband Jeff Craig, and their son Steven, of Henderson, NV. and numerous friends. Memorials: Memorial contributions in Kenneth's name may be made to the organization of your choice. Service: A Celebration of life for Kenneth will be held on Wednesday March 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Glenn Burfeind officiating. .
