Dorothy lived her life through her Lord and Savior and was the pride of her family. Dorothy met the love of her life John “Jack” Buck while in high school. The bond these two created inspired the generations around her. Jack went into the US Army and while in the service they wrote love letters until his return. On May 14th, 1954 Jack and Dorothy made their vows and were married for 64 wonderful years. They had 72 years of memories.

Together throughout the years their family grew. Jack and Dorothy had seven children and she was a very devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She spent 29 years at Kalispell Regional Hospital as a seamstress and loved her hospital family. Her grandchildren often visited her while she worked and nothing made her prouder than to show off her grandchildren. She was so devoted to her family especially her grandchildren. She would be given several schedules of her numerous grandchildren’s school and sports events and with her husband by her side they went to every single event. She was always found in the stands cheering.

Louise Redfield was her sister in law but more her best friend and they spent many years at the Farms Market together.
