Craig Lee Wilson, age 69, of Lakeside, passed away at his home on April 24, 2024.

 

Craig was born in Malta on October 15, 1954 to E. L “Blackie” and Glee Wilson. The family moved to Choteau where Craig attended school and graduated from Choteau High School in 1972.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and sports.  He was active in scouting and DeMolay. After graduation, Craig enlisted in the Air Force and served for two years.

 

Dedicated to a career in construction, Craig traveled both domestically and internationally in his positions as laborer, powderman, and millwright. He often worked alongside his older brother, Curt, on various jobs. He worked on the Alaska and Grand Mesa pipelines.

 

Craig and his wife, Rosie, enjoyed their home and the life they had in Lakeside.  The mountains offered them a peaceful lifestyle. Hunting and fishing were favorite hobbies they shared with their children, family and friends.

 

Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Blackie and Glee, and his brother, Curt. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Rosie.  He is also survived by his son, Bryan Lee, and his family; daughter, Chrystal Rose; sister, Cathy (Joe), many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, in-laws, out-laws, and many friends. No service will be held. Please remember Craig by raising a toast with a  good story around the campfire.
