Ethan Fix

Ethan Jess Fix was born on the 22nd of July 2008 to Brad and Christy Fix and joined older brother Dylan.

Ethan passed away at the early age of 13 on the 18th of December 2021

He spent his early years following his big brother around the house and was always getting blamed for the mischief they got into.  After graduating preschool, it was on to 1st grade at Edgerton Elementary where he enjoyed mathletes, an after school math club.   In 6th grade at Kalispell middle school, he       learned to play the clarinet and bass clarinet in the band.

Ethan spent his summertime on a tube behind Bapa and Gammie’s boat where he never quit talking. He never met a cat he didn’t like. His cat, Maverick, was his best friend.  Maverick could listen to him all day long as long as he was petting him.  Ethan’s fashion was always wearing a cat shirt and mismatched socks. Ethan’s latest passion was online gaming and making YouTube videos. He also enjoyed playing board games, shooting the BB gun, hitting golf balls and talking.

Ethan is survived by his mom, Christy Weyrauch Fix, his dad, Brad Fix, brother Dylan, grandparents, Jan Fix, Dan Fix, Cary and Arlene Weyrauch, his cat Maverick, and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

A viewing at 12:00 followed by a 1:00 memorial service will take place at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home Wednesday December 29th, with burial to follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens. He was known by many and will be missed by all.  In lieu of flowers, please take a small bag of cat food to your local animal shelter. On Wednesday, wherever you may be, wear a pair of mismatched socks for Ethan.
