Gregory Cusick

August 9, 1945 — March 17, 2012

Gregory Douglas "Greg" Cusick, 66, passed away suddenly at his home March 17, 2012.

Greg was born in Kalispell Aug. 9, 1945. He was the middle child of Edith and Edwin Cusick, and was a lifelong resident.

He attended St. Matthew's School and graduated from Flathead High School in 1963, then went on to Moler Barber School in Spokane.

In 1970, Greg married Theresa M. Miller. This union brought daughter Michelle.

In 1974, he married Susan G. Bergstrom. They completed their family with Erika and Ryan.

Greg was a dedicated family man who enjoyed the outdoors - fishing, hunting, golfing and baseball. He retired in 2008 after 33 years from Plum Creek-Evergreen.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jeanne Graham; brother-in-law, Larry Graham; and a brother, John "Jack" Cusick.

Greg is survived by his wife, Susan, of 37 years; two daughters, Michelle Motichka and Michael of Columbia Falls, and Erika Cusick of Kalispell; son, Ryan Cusick, and Tammi, of Columbia Falls; brothers, Gary Cusick and Linda of Glendale, Calif., Douglas Cusick and Linda of Kalispell, sister-in-law, Linda Cusick (Jack) of Kalispell; mother-in-law Margaret Bergstrom, and brother-in-law Lyle Bergstrom, both of Sandpoint, Idaho; sister-in-law, Vicki Bergstrom, of Sammamish, Wash.; grandchildren, Alyssa Gould, Anestia, Zandel and Alan Wildish, and MKGraygor and Daxden Cusick; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at Risen Christ Catholic Church. Private family burial will follow.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Evergreen Fire Department or Adopt A Light at Risen Christ Church.
