Hatsu Taira, age 76, passed away Monday June 20, 2011 at Heritage Place in Kalispell. Hatsu was born June 20, 1935 in Okinawa, Japan and was raised there. In 1970, she married Bill Crouse in Kalispell. Hatsu was a retired professional seamstress and loved to cook. She also enjoyed sewing, taking care of family and friends, watching Hallmark movies and playing Bingo with her mother. Hatsu was preceded in death by her mother Sue Taira and husband Bill Crouse. She is survived by her children Reiko Hodgdon and Takahiro Taira both of Kalispell. Grandchildren Yoshiyuki (Marlys) Kobayashi; Travis (Courtney) Hodgdon; Joshua Taira and a great grandchild Serie'Anna Kobayashi. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory caring for the family.
