Hilda Irvin, age 88, joined her heavenly Father on Monday February 14, 2011 in Kalispell. Hilda was born May 16, 1922 in Germany, and grew up there before She immagrated to Montana with her family. She married her beloved husband William "Bill" Irvin. Hilda was an outgoing woman with a big heart. She was a strong minded stubborn German and loved to have a good time. Her passion was putting on her boots while camping, to hike the hills and pick huckleberries so she could make homemade wines and pies. She was blessed to be able to travel and see the world with her friends and family. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, and she loved to dance and socialize. Hilda expressed Her love for life by smiling and laughing often. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, sister Melanie Collins, brother Paul Basler, and her parents Leo and Anna Basler. She is survived by her daughter Janet Rae and husband Ed Lasater of Kalispell, MT; sister Gert Leary, grandchildren Jesse Lasater; Justin and Amber Lasater; great grandchild Madison Lasater; step children and their families and many nieces and nephews.
