James Scott Berry, 68, of Kalispell, MT, passed away peacefully at home on June 1, 2025, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. Born July 6, 1956, in Minnetonka, Minnesota, James worked in carpentry and construction and was active in Big Brothers and Sisters. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Nancy J. Berry; brothers Guy A. Berry (West End, NC), David N. Berry (Buckeye, AZ), John F. Berry (Minnetonka, MN), and Byron R. Berry (Maple Grove, MN); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles (Charlie) Thomas Berry of Kalispell, MT.
Funeral services are pending. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.
