Keith Allen Scott, age 49, passed away at his home in Kalispell, Montana, on January 17, 2026 of natural causes. He was born on August 3, 1976, in Ketchikan, Alaska, to Jerry and LaVerne Scott. At six months of age, Keith moved with his family to Kalispell, where he spent most of his life.
Keith graduated from Flathead High School and continued his education at Flathead Valley Community College and San Francisco City College, pursuing studies in electrical engineering. He worked as an electrical engineer for Applied Materials and was also employed at the Amc Kabuki 8 Dine-in Theater in San Francisco, California, where he served as a manager and projection specialist.
Keith enjoyed spending time outdoors. His favorite activities included canoeing, fishing, camping, and hiking. He also enjoyed playing video games and had a curious mind, often spending time studying quantum physics and working through complex scientific formulas.
Keith is survived by his loving parents, Jerry and LaVerne Scott of Kalispell Montana; his brothers, Don (Arlene) Hall of Claremont, Florida, Aaron (Victoria) Scott of Denver, Colorado, and Colby Scott of Spokane, Washington; and his sister, Laurinda (Matt) Danner of Hayden Lake, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse Scott, Wynona Scott, William and Bernie Briggs.
A memorial service will be held on February 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church, located at 329 2nd Ave. E, Kalispell, Montana. A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Kalispell VFW.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
