Kimble "Kim" Woodring

June 8, 1961 — December 29, 2021

Kimble Earl Woodring 60, was born on June 8, 1961 at General Rose Hospital in Denver, Colorado to Earl and Louise Woodring and died Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Logan Health.

Kim was only a few years old when Earl and Louise packed up their family and moved from Colorado to Montana, so Montana is all he knew.  He attended Boorman School and Flathead High School.  Kim was a natural-born equipment operator and was adept at all types of equipment, but the brush tractor he ran for the past several years was his favorite.  He and his brother, Eric, were partners in Woodring Brothers Excavating and worked well together.

Kim was devoted to his family and loved spending time with them.  Whether it was calling Matthew to let him know Gold Rush was about to start, to going hunting or fishing with Steph - he enjoyed them and loved them.  Kim was a grill master and grilled for his entire family at the lake and at his home.  Kim was outgoing and would take the family up to Koocanusa for Fun Days and stay so they could all have fun.  Kim was always present if you needed him for anything, i.e., putting in a new sewer pipe, a drainfield, helping put out a fire that was smoldering for days - he showed up and that speaks volumes. Kim loved to go south during the winter months and had so much fun just traveling.

Kim is survived by Heather Woodring, son, Matthew (Angie) Woodring and their daughter, Kora, daughter, Stephanie (Cody) Woodring, brother Trace Woodring, brother Eric (Kami) Woodring, sister, Sue (Jim) Cameron, Lisa (and Jack) Lytle whom he spent the last two and a half years enjoying, nephews Parker Cameron, Story Cameron, Cable Cameron, Hayden Woodring and niece, Grace Woodring.  Kim had many great friends and acquaintances and we are not sure he ever knew a stranger.  Kim was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Louise Woodring and his oldest brother, Mike.
