It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa Lew Hendricks, who passed away on May 22, 2025.Lewis was born on Aug. 22, 1938, in Clovis, New Mexico, to Ralph and Florence (Dean) Hendricks. He grew up helping his parents on their family farm in House, New Mexico. In the summers as a teenager, he and his Dad worked on a wheat harvest crew that traveled to farms in New Mexico, Colorado and Montana. Lewis graduated from House High School in May 1957. 

He married Clarice Morris May 23, 1959. He worked for ATSF Rail Road in Belen, New Mexico. Lew and his family then moved to Farmington, New Mexico where he started working for Sandia Detroit Diesel Company.Four children later, they found their way to Gillette, Wyoming, August of 1977 where he worked for Thunder Basin Coal Company. In December 1983 the family moved to Kalispell and opened S& L; Diesel Repair Shop. In 1987, he went to work for City Service as a diesel mechanic and retired in 2003.

Lewis was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Sidney. He is survived by his wife Clarice; his daughter Dot (Joe) Feger; daughter-in-law Colette Hendricks; daughter Missy Hendricks and son Dan (Kathy) Colibri; grandchildren: Myste Rohr, Jarred (Leslie) Dawson and Josh (Beth) Feger; great-grandchildren: Diamond, Logan, Hunter, Wyatt, Drew, Tia, Tempe, Kjerstin and Gianna; brother Leo (Pat) Hendricks and several nieces and nephews.Lewis will be remembered for his kind, caring heart, love, laughter, and his helpful ways.

Memorial Services will be held at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11 a.m. His final resting place will be at Glacier Memorial Gardens.Lew will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
