Raul K. Brown passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 2026, at the age of 49. He leaves behind a family, community, and countless friends who loved him deeply.
Raul dedicated much of his life to serving others as a firefighter, EMT, and paramedic with several departments throughout the Valley. He was known for his dedication, courage, and willingness to answer the call whenever someone needed help.
Outside of his service career, Raul was a free-spirited cowboy, bull rider, entrepreneur, adventurer, and someone who truly lived life to the fullest. He loved deeply, laughed loudly, and brought energy and enthusiasm everywhere he went. To know Raul was to know strength, adventure, compassion, and a larger-than-life spirit.
Despite carrying struggles of his own in recent years, the core of who Raul was never changed. He was still a man who cared deeply for the people he loved and left a lasting impact on the many lives he touched throughout his journey.
Family remained deeply important to Raul throughout his life. His greatest legacy lives on through Trevor Brown, Cody (Wife-Sam) Brown, and Kayla (Husband-Nathan) Feliksa.
He is also survived by his parents, Lily and Dennis Brown; his sisters, Ivy (Husband-Ron) Redfield, Christine (Husband-McKenzie) Keltner, Rhonda Ameline; and his brothers, Jeff McAllister and Randy (Wife-Yvonne) Brown. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were touched by his presence.
The memories he created, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave will continue to live on through all who knew him. His smile, spirit, and unforgettable presence will never be forgotten.
A funeral service for Raul will be held at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home on July 11, 2026, at 1:30pm, followed by a graveside service at Glacier Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow at the Evergreen Fire Hall community room. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Raul’s life.
