Robert R. Richards, age 83, passed away due to an automobile accident on Friday February 24, 2012. Robert was born October 15, 1928 in Ponca City, OK, the son of Robert and Nora (McKinney) Richards. He was raised in Kansas. In 1951, in Napa, CA., he married Dora Zahler. They were together for 60 years before his passing. Robert served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1951 till 1953. He had been a truck driver and was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Nora Richards and his oldest son Robert J. Richards. He is survived by his wife Dora and children Rickey Lee Richards; Debbie J. Boultinghouse, and Dawn J. Focke; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
