Our daughter and the light of our lives passed away on July 16, 2019 at just 16 years old as a result of injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
Saylor was generous, kind, happy, and always brimming with optimism. She believed there was no problem that could not be solved with a little creative thinking and dedication.
So many people just lost a best friend. Saylor was not only a silly, fun girl to be around, but she was also a caring friend, daughter and sister. She had a passion for sports, but loved her teammates even more.
She had a great sense of style, and could always light up a room. Saylor always made sure to look after her friends, and family. She saw the light and value in everyone she interacted with, and always knew how to make dark days brighter with her infectious smile and laughter. She had a special place in so many peoples hearts. She will be deeply missed by all, but most definitely not forgotten.
She is survived by her parents, Peter and Jessica Martinz, her younger sister Callie, grandparents Mike and Pattie Jackson, Aunt Katie Jackson and Uncle Steve Snider, Aunt Julie and Uncle Jim Schumacher and her cousins Max and Ash-Lee Schumacher.
A celebration of Saylor’s life will be held at noon on Saturday, Aug. 17, at Bigfork High School.
Donations to the Bigfork High School Summer Basketball Camp scholarship are encouraged in lieu of memorials.
