Shane Francis Pool, 67, of Columbia Falls, Montana, went home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2026.
Shane was born on December 14, 1958, in Everett, Washington, to Golden Francis “Smiley” Pool and Beverly Jane Pool. His mother, Beverly, later married Ronald Kunik, who became Shane’s stepfather and someone who meant a great deal to Shane throughout his life.
Shane married his high school sweetheart, Pam Crowley, and together they welcomed their son, Shaunn. After Pam’s passing, Shane married Cindy Stuker Vest, and together they welcomed Prescott into their lives.
Shane was a hardworking man who loved the outdoors and enjoyed working on cars, watching NASCAR, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He worked at Western Building Center (WBC) for the last several years, where he loved his job, his coworkers, and the opportunity to serve his community. Shane was well-liked by everyone who knew him and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Shane is now reunited in Heaven with his first love, Pam Crowley; his mother, Beverly Jane Kunik; his father, Golden Francis “Smiley” Pool; his stepfather, Ronald Kunik; and his grandparents, Roberta and Chester “Chic” Klein.
He is lovingly remembered by his children, Shaunn and Prescott Pool; his grandchildren; his siblings; his cousins; and extended family members and friends who will cherish the memories they shared with him.
Though Shane will be deeply missed, his family rejoices in knowing that he is no longer in pain after his courageous fight with oesophageal cancer. His family finds comfort in knowing that he is now with other loved ones in heaven.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday October 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM preceded by a Viewing at 1:00 PM and will be at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory.
