Sharon French

August 4, 1941 — March 26, 2011

Sharon Dean Berg French, age 69, passed away Saturday March 26, 2011 in the comfort of her Bigfork home.   Sharon was born August 4, 1941 in Eureka, Montana, the daughter of Laurence and Eloise Berg.  She was raised in Devon and Fortine Montana.  She attended grade school in Fortine, high school in Eureka, and also attended Flathead Valley Community College.  Sharon worked as a mother, camp cook in the Bob Marshall, and was a bartender.  Mom played the accordian and sang country western music.  She crocheted and knitted gifts for her family.  She made stuffed animals, doilies, baby sweaters, and hats.  She was also very talented with pencil art sketching.  Mom also enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping and canoeing.  She loved the outdoors.  Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Laurence Berg in 1967; Eloise Berg in 2000; sister Patsy Belcher in 1993; nephew Jim Hammons in 1999; cousin Lynn Ann Holder in 2011; grandsons Kristopher Jones in 2010; JC Watt in 2010.  Sharon is survived by her children Taimi Lynn McCully of Kila; Roger Laurence "Skip" Libby of Marion; Leah Jestine Bolt-Britton of Kalispell; Sherina Helen Whitford of Cutbank, MT; Ronald Russell "Rusty" Libby of Arizona; sister Janis Hammons and husband John Roberts; Pam Eaton and husband Terry, brother Larry Berg and other Aunts, Uncles and cousins.  11 grandchildren Gary, Orville and Jennifer McCully; Benjamin, Nicholas and Scott Bolt Jr.; Anne and Holly Whitford; Shawn Libby; Kristopher Jones; Corey Knudsen.  10 great grandchildren Cole, Riley, Desiree, Donald and Lilliaunna McCully; Gavin and Winter Watt; Jersey and Kolby Jones; and Alyssa Rudie.
