Tayte James Maestas, age 21, passed away in Eureka, Montana, on May 9, 2026. He was born in Kalispell, Montana, on December 22, 2004.

Tayte was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, partner, father, and friend. He was taken from his family and friends far too soon, leaving behind countless cherished memories and a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Tayte had a deep love for the outdoors. He felt most at home in the woods, where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time surrounded by the beauty of nature. Whether he was casting a line, exploring the mountains, or sharing stories around a campfire, Tayte found happiness in the simple moments.

More than anything, Tayte loved being with his family and friends. His bright smile, contagious laughter, and kind heart made everyone around him feel welcomed and loved. He had a special way of bringing people together and creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Tayte was deeply loved by his parents, family, and friends. To his father, he would always be his little boy. To his mother, he was her pride and joy. To his sister, he was her only sibling, lifelong best friend, and an irreplaceable part of her heart.

To his girlfriend, Tayte was her end game, her forever, and the love of her life. Together they shared a beautiful bond and welcomed their precious baby girl, whom Tayte loved with all his heart. He was a devoted and loving father, and his daughter will always know how deeply she was cherished by her daddy.

A Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m.on Saturday May 16, 2026 at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.
