Terrance Roy Shepherd, 53, passed away Nov. 3, 2013, in Kalispell, of natural causes.
He was born Aug. 8, 1960, in Portland to Art and Shirley Shepherd. He was raised in Portland and graduated from high school in Troutdale, Ore.
Terry served in the Marine Corps for eight years.
In 1992, he married Rebecca L. Dixon in Halfway, Ore.
He worked as a cook at Perkins, Isaak Walton Inn and, most recently, at Local Joe's in Bigfork.
Terry enjoyed being with friends. He never missed Sunday football with his kids and grandkids whom he referred to as "munchkins." He enjoyed camping with friends, fishing and flying his airplane with his son-in-law.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Rebecca L. Shepherd; stepchildren, Angela and husband Corey Rensmon, and Scott and wife Tanya; grandchildren, Michaela, Asher, Bodee and Bailey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at 5 p.m. today, Nov. 30, at the home of Corey and Anje Rensmon, 1525 Three Mile Dr.
