Virgil Emmett Kaski, age 84, passed away March 6, 2011 at the Brendan House in Kalispell, Montana. Virgil was born February 15, 1927 in Brantwood, Wisconsin to Hemmie and Amelia (Berhow) Kaski. He married Ruth Pekkala in 1950 in Detroit, Michigan. They had seven children: Peter and his wife Nellie Kaski of Vancouver, WA; James and his wife Eileen Kaski of Battle Ground, WA; Beth Kaski of Vancouver, WA; Mark and his wife Ulla Kaski of Rollins, MT; and Tom and his wife Sydney Kaski of Yacolt, WA; grandchildren, great grandchildren; one brother Wayne Kaski of Sun Prairie, WI; two sisters, Doris Lee of Battle Ground, WA; and Ardith Rosenlund of Yacolt, WA, and many Christian friends. He was preceded in death by his parents 2 brothers and 3 sisters and his sons Virgil and Eric. He served in the U.S. Army overseas after World War II. He was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.
