Walter James “Jim” Lauterback, age 82, passed away on Thursday September 2, 2010 at the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls, Montana. Jim was born on May 5, 1928 in Glendale, California to Walter and Melba “Evans” Lauterback. He worked as a railroad brakeman, and had owned and operated his own body and paint shop. He loved playing pool. He was preceded in death by his parents, He is survived by his wife Ellen Lauterback of Lakeside, MT., children, Steven Lauterback of LaCrescenta, CA, Sandy McKee of Glendale, CA, and Veronica Morris of Springfield, MO, 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 4 great grandsons.
