On the morning of November 2nd, 2023, William "Willie" Benjamin Weber passed into glory surrounded by family after a long battle with glioblastoma brain cancer.
Willie was born to Bill and Chris Weber on January 8th, 1982 in Kirkland, WA. He grew up in the pacific northwest, a place he loved, surrounded by his loving siblings: Hannah Weber, Andy Weber, Amy Platt, and Becca Galvin.
Willie had a passion for missions. After graduating in 2000 from Woodinville High School, he spent many years working with Youth With A Mission. He was based out of Maui, HI with YWAM. He traveled the world and shared the love and hope of Jesus with those he met. Over those years, he developed a deep love for Hawaii and the Hawaiian people.
On September 15th, 2007, Willie married the love of his life, Bethany Eisenlohr. They have four children: Everett Weber (13), Coren Weber (11), Bannon Weber (9), and Brielle Weber (7). He always said his greatest dream was fulfilled when he became a husband and a dad. He adored and spoiled his family and was a loving husband and father.
Willie had a career in logistics for many years where he moved up the ladder into middle management. He then switched careers in 2018 and received an AA in Web Applications Programming. He built websites for a brief time before he was diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer. He also was a door dasher after relocating to Kalispell, MT where he made many friends and connections in the community.
Willie was an avid Seattle sports fan. His favorite pastime was watching the University of Washington Huskies football team with his dad and brother. He was a talented singer/songwriter who played the guitar and bass as well as led worship at his local church throughout his life. He was extraordinary in stature at 6 foot 7 inches and larger than life in personality to match. He was full of joy no matter what he was enduring and his quick wit and jokes will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a loyal friend.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wilson & Mary Harrison and paternal grandparents, John & Agnes Weber.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 18th, 2023 at 11:00am in the Lower Auditorium of Canvas Church, 255 Summit Ridge Dr, Kalispell, MT 59901.
