Obituary

Loved mother, wife and friend Barbara Dedman passed away February 4th, 2023 at the age of 91.

Mom was born to Edward and Lucille (Welch) Cain in Danville, Illinois on June 3rd, 1931 and married James T Dedman, Jr, September 12 1959. Mom and dad moved to the Flathead valley in 1963 where dad was employed by the US Forest Service and mom was a homemaker, and later, worked for Flathead Government Employees CU.

Mom was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who was always there for you when we needed her.

She had many close friends including a close-knit but extended group of quilters and is predeceased by an infant daughter, Katherine Marie Dedman, husband, James T Dedman, Jr, son Daniel Blaine Dedman and brother John Edward Cain. Mom is survived by her sister Jane Becker of Springfield, Illinois, son Thomas Edward and Wife Karla of Anaconda, son David Nathan and wife Jackie of Kalispell and grandchildren Taylor, Chloe and Colter Dedman.
