Shannon Cushing

Shannon Elizabeth Cushing, age 25, passed away on Tuesday November 19, 2019 at her home in Kalispell. Shannon was born on June 30, 1994 to Benton Cushing and Annette Martin in Yakima, WA. Shannon was raised in Lakeside, MT on the lake.

Shannon received her Associates Degree in Medical Coding and Business Administration from FVCC. She was most recently accepted to the Doctor of Pharmacy Program at the University of Montana.  Shannon worked at FVCC and KRMC, and was also very involved in the Spay and Neuter Clinic at Flathead Spay and Neuter Task Force. She enjoyed watching movies, playing video games, hiking, roller coasters, fishing, biking, boating, spending time with family; but especially enjoyed  shopping with her sisters, and going to Costco. Shannon was preceded in death by her cat, Callie. She is survived by her partner Nick Morkid and her parents Benton Cushing, Annette Mott, sisters Stephanie Reid and Jessica Cushing.  Dalaney Trujillo, Amanda Norenberg, Rebecca Harvey and the loves of her life, Gabriel Reid and Sebastain Marsillo, also Jace Martin, Matt Martin, Jackson Martin and numerous cousin and their families. A Celebration of Shannon’s Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday November 23rd at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Friends are encouraged to visit our website at www.buffalohillfh.com to leave notes of condolences for the family.
