KALISPELL – Funeral services for Tammy Denise Kirkland, 50,  will be held Sunday, August 18, at the Birch Grove Grange in Kalispell at two o’clock, with Jeff Nelson officiating. A potluck will be held after. Please coordinate with Kayla Palumbo at 406-890-1077 or Marvette Arnold at 406-407-2788 for what to bring to the potluck. Everyone that knew her is welcome.

Mrs. Kirkland died Friday, July 19, 2019, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell.

She was born September 3, 1968, at Mountain Home, Arkansas to Lonnie Duvall and Janie Shaddon-Duvall. She grew up and attended school at Atkins, Arkansas.

In 1998, Tammy moved to Montana. August 31, 2002, she married the love of her life, Dean Kirkland. Tammy enjoyed hunting and camping. She also enjoyed dancing and listening to music. Tammy spent her time with friends and family. Tammy also enjoyed living in Montana and going for drives in the mountains with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Dean, at the family home in Columbia Falls; seven children, Shadow Scissom, Williston, ND; Raven Bailey and her husband, Jay, Williston, ND; Michael Kirkland, Columbia Falls; Kayla Palumbo and her husband, Josh, Coram; Byron Kirkland and his wife, Cheyenne, Kila; and Marvette Arnold and her husband, Thomas, Columbia Falls; her sister; Crystal Duvall and her husband, David, Atkins, AR; her brother, Bradley Duvall and his wife Amanda, Atkins, AR; many aunts and uncles; eighteen grandchildren, Zoey, Peyton, Cheryl, Arianna, Joshua, and Alexander Palumbo, Dean and Jayson Kirkland, Aroura, Mariah, and Hazel Kirkland, Eli Ward, Rebecca Roe, Aaron and Mark Arnold, and Landon and Sky Scissom; plus several nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Dottie Nelson and her husband, Ken, Kila; and Diana Kirkland, Hungry Horse; and a brother-in-law, Don Kirkland and his wife, Michelle, Kalispell.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Janie Duvall; father-in-law, Mearl Kirkland, an uncle, Jim Pearse, and a brother, Gregory Duvall.
